Obscure fabric question(s)
Does anyone know what that fabric that's different colors from different angles is called, and do they make it in things other than just solid colors?

Er. I'm not sure it actually has one name, since I think you can make it out of different fibers. Iridescent something, maybe? I dunno.
You MIGHT be able to find it in stripes or something... I also have no clue if it comes in other than solid colors.
Of course, I could be thinking of something entirely different.

Tonje and I have decided that it happens pretty often with silk satin, but can't come up with a name for it specifically.

I've heard it called "flip flop" by a seamstress. A quick google doesn't offer much.
